The Empty Bowl production is scheduled for 23-24 August. The event
will be held at the Southwest School of Art from 9 am to 9 pm each
day. The schedule both days will be throwing soup bowls and trimming.
All bowls will need to be trimmed by closing time on the second day.
As in the past, if your “regular” job dictates a schedule of joining in
the fun a couple of hours, feel free to stop in.
You are welcome to make bowls during the year at your
studio and deliver to the guild storage space at Clay World.
Lunch and light dinner will be coordinated by the committee. As always, home cooked treats are welcome.
A schedule for bisque fire of the production work will be
determined after vessels are dry and help will be needed for the glaze
kiln loading.
